We all know that MeghSagar Foundation Team is working hard on Awareness of the segregation of Dry/wet waste, we have conducted a Presentation on Segregation in Rander Zone (SMC) conference hall.

Starting we discussed how we could take surat to the number one position? that is the main topic and as we know segregation is the key to making surat the cleanest city from waste or e-waste. Why is segregation important to all? from segregation, we can take the separation of waste and then we can take to recycle waste and from the plastic waste we can reuse it.

From Kitchen waste, all the waste is wet that can be used to compost and we discussed in a presentation, how to awareness people to separate the waste such as Dry, Wet, and Hazardous waste. Encouraging people to take a few minutes to separate their own house waste and from houses, mostly wet waste is coming from the kitchen.

And hazardous waste such as Glass, Sanitary pads, Used tampons, etc, all the waste should be added to the red dustbin. we have also discussed giving awareness to Door to Door vehicle persons along with the supervisors and also to corporate with us to encourage people to Segregate waste.

The Team of MeghSagar Foundation is working continues in this Awareness Program to aware people of Rander Zone (SMC) with help of Surat Municipal Corporation to Educate each and every person about the Segregation of Waste.

As we conducted a Presentation on Segregation given to Rander Zone (SMC) (Health Department) Depute Health Officer, Chief SI Officers, SI Officers, SSI Officers, Door to Door Supervisor are present on the day and they are very supportive of Segregation Awareness and to make Surat no. 1 position under swachh survekshan 2023.
